Many netizens uniformly expressed indignation at this, crying out “Ding Jinhao, you’re about to become famous!” Experienced tour guide Mr. Zhang, who has led tours in Egypt multiple times, said damaging and smuggling relics across the border already violates local laws, and one could go to jail if it is caught considered serious.

If you’re caught, it’s very likely that you’ll be fined, and if it is serious, your may even go to jail. I’m not kidding you.”

A Chinese pensioner can lift up to 14 bricks with a 'horn' that's grown on his forehead. Wang Ying, 73, has been practicing Kung Fu, especially the study of Qi, since he was just eight-years-old.

But his studies took a new direction after a 5cm long tumour grew on his forehead. Doctors told him they could not operate on the tumour because of its location. So Wang has incorporated it into his Qi routine.

Football fans watching a pre-match dance item before last night's showpiece final between the First XI and the S-League All-Stars, were stunned after one of the dancers left the pitch following a wardrobe malfunction which exposed her nipples.

The performer, who could not be identified, was nearing the end of her dance routine when her silver-coloured tube top slipped.

She immediately pulled her top back up and hurriedly left the field in front of more than 7,000 spectators at the Jalan Besar Stadium.

Most of the spectators whom The New Paper interviewed said the incident was over in almost an instant.

One fan, Mr Muhd Ismail, 21, said: "At first, all I noticed was that her wig had dropped off and she continued performing without it.

"A while later, she started adjusting and fiddling with her (top) like there was something wrong with it.

"The next thing, her shirt was down, although she immediately covered herself.
"But from where I was seated, it didn't look like anything was revealed."

Another spectator, who declined to be named, said: "She looked uneasy with the performance throughout, as though there was something wrong with her attire.

Grave robbers caught selling dead

A Chinese gang of grave robbers was caught trying to sell a dead woman into marriage – days after her family had done exactly the same thing. The woman’s devastated parents,from the rural Hebei Province near Beijing and with the surname Wu, initially chose to sell her body for £3,500, for a ‘ghost marriage’.

This is the ancient tradition where dead woman are united with bachelors to stop them wandering the afterlife alone.

But just days later grave robbers snatched her corpse and tried to pair her off, with another dead man in a nearby town.

Police caught the gang of five offering the woman to another family for £3,000, a slight discount to reflect several days of decomposition.

China’s Communists attempted to stamp out many traditions such as ‘ghost marriages’ after taking control in 1949.

But they have gradually regained popularity in recent years and a thriving underground ‘ghost marriage’ industry now exists in some parts of the country.

Black market businesses have sprung up, with many acting as cadaver brokers, matchmakers for the dead, body snatchers, crooked undertakers and grave robbers.

In 2007, a man was arrested after killing and then selling six women.

He claimed that ‘killing people and selling their bodies is less work than stealing them from graves.’

Woman kills man by squeezing his testicles.

A female scooter rider in Haikou City, Hainan Province, China killed a man in a fight by squeezing his testicles until he died. The incident happened during a dispute over parking space.

According to China24.net, the Chinese woman, 41, rode on a scooter to an elementary school in Meilan District, Haikou City, to pick up her child. A shop owner objected when she tried to park in front of his shop. The Telegraph reports the two soon fell into a quarrel as the woman insisted she would park her scooter.

Huffington Post reports a shouting match developed into a physical confrontation and the woman called her brother and husband to come to her aid. When the two men arrived, a violent fist fight erupted. The woman gave a helping hand to her husband and brother by grabbing at the 42-year-old man's testicles and squeezing till the man collapsed in agony.

Gizmodo reports paramedics tried unsuccessfully to revive the man before he was rushed to the hospital where he died.

But why did the man die from having his testicles squeezed?

According to Gizmodo, a San Diego Urologist Dr. Irwin Goldstein, explained that it is possible to kill a man by squeezing his testicles. He said: "Yes, the testicles are exquisitely sensitive to touch and there is a huge release of adrenalin when there is excessive force applied to these organs.Testicular pain is referred to the lower abdomen, mesenteric plexus, and causes men to stop abruptly what they are doing, lie on the ground, close their eyes and bend knees.

Woman wastes 98 tons of water by flushing the toilet

A 68-year-old rural woman who went to the city for the first time in her life wasted 98 tons of water over two months by flushing the toilet in her son's home, the Dalian-based Bandao Morning Post reported on March 26.

The lady, surnamed Song, flushed the toilet almost every five minutes because she found it interesting, the paper said.

Song told the paper that she thought flushing the toilet was different from running water, and didn't cost any money.

Song was brought to Dalian, a city in Northeast China's Liaoning province, by her son in January to spend the lunar Chinese New Year and has stayed with him ever since, according to the paper.

Taiwanese woman commits suicide on Facebook

A woman in Taiwan killed herself by inhaling poisonous fumes while chatting with friends on Facebook and none of them alerted authorities, police said Tuesday.

Claire Lin killed herself on her 31st birthday, March 18, and family members who reported her suicide were unaware of the Facebook conversations that accompanied it, Taipei police officer Hsieh Ku-ming said.

Lin's last Facebook entries show her chatting with nine friends, alerting them to her gradual asphyxiation. One picture uploaded from her mobile phone depicts a charcoal barbecue burning next to two stuffed animals. Another shows the room filled with fumes.

One friend identified as Chung Hsin, told Lin, "Be calm, open the window, put out the charcoal fire, please, I beg you."

Lin replied: "The fumes are suffocating. They fill my eyes with tears. Don't write me anymore."

A few of the Facebook friends chatting with her tried to stop her and track her down on their own, but none called police. Chung did not respond to attempts to reach him for comment.

Lin's last words, in Chinese, were: "Too late. My room is filled with fumes. I just posted another picture. Even while I'm dying, I still want FB (Facebook). Must be FB poison. Haha."

Lin's Facebook postings indicated she was unhappy because her boyfriend was ignoring her, and had failed to return home to be with her on her birthday. Her boyfriend found her body the next morning and alerted her family, Hsieh said.

Hsieh said he regretted that none of her friends called police to help her during the 67-minute episode, but he added it may have been difficult for them to know her whereabouts because of the nature of social media.

"It could be true that it would be hard to track down a Facebook friend without her address or phone contact," Chen said.

Chai Ben-rei, a sociologist at Taiwan's Feng Chia University, said the incident reflected social isolation in the Internet age.

"People may have doubts about what they see on the Internet because of its virtual nature, and fail to take action on it," he said.

A Taiwanese couple were married only for one hour, until the husband dithered over his wife's request for a new car.

The wife, known only as Wang, had brought her husband, known only as Lee, to a car dealer soon after registering their marriage, as she wanted her husband to buy an imported car for her.

But when Lee, 23, said he would consider it, Wang, 27, immediately snapped.

"Divorce me if you do not want to buy!" the Star Online quoted her as saying.

They then went back to the registration department to file for a divorce.

Man kills vendor after realising he bought a fake iPhone

A 29-year-old man, surnamed Feng, stabbed a street peddler to death in Zhengzhou City, Heinan Province on February 28, after he realized that he was sold a fake iPhone.

According to the street monitoring camera footage, the 29-year-old with a knife in hand chased after the vendor along the street at the Two-Seven Square, in Zhengzhou. The vendor fell onto the ground after he was stabbed in his thigh, but he struggled to pick himself up soon running again.

When they ran to the front of a shopping mall, the vendor fell one more time. In order to stop the knife-wielding offender coming close to him, the man kept kicking his legs. The offender waved the knife over him for a while and then left. But, unfortunately, the vendor failed to stand up this time. When the ambulance arrived, he has died from blood loss as the artery in his right leg has broken open.

After 2 hours hunting, the local police successfully arrested Feng, who is a chef in a kindergarten of the city, and seized the knife too on the day.

It was learned the criminal suspect bought an iPhone with “a good discount” at 2,000 yuan only from two street peddlers near the Rail Station of Zhengzhou City on February 25. When he thought he was hit by good luck that day and happily opened the phone to use, he realized he was fooled: the peddlers showed him a real iPhone in demonstration, but eventually gave him a fake one after the “good deal”.

Feng was furious, and rushed back to the original place where he was tricked. For fear the fact that these kinds of street vendors often came as a group, Feng prepared a knife to defend himself and threaten others.

But after several days of searching, Feng did not find the vendors who sold the fake iPhone to him, but ran into another group of vendors.

Physical conflict aroused between them after argument, and Feng was consequently group beaten by the gang. Under such a pressing circumstance, Feng took out the knife and desperately stabbed to them, forcing the gang to stay back.

One of them sustained the stab wound and Feng took the opportunity to fight back and chase after the injured, which finally led to the death of this vendor.

Chinese woman creates website to promote premarital virginity

A Chinese woman writer has run into a controversy after she set up a website that asks people to stay virgins before their wedding.

Freelance writer Tu Shiyou from Wuhan said she was driven to set up the website by the recent trend of youngsters supporting premarital sex, the China Daily reported.

The 38-year-old writer has never been in a relationship.

After a friend expressed disbelief about her virginity, she acquired proof from a hospital and released it on her micro blog.
Some people are doubting Tu's intention for establishing such a website.

A college professor said the website was "not practical".

Chinese woman gave birth to giant baby

A mother in central China has given birth to a 15.52 pound (7.04 kilogram) baby, possibly the largest newborn on record since the country's founding in 1949.

The state-run Tianjin Post said Tuesday that the 29-year-old mother in Henan province gave birth to the boy Saturday by cesarean section.

It said delivery took just 20 minutes and both mother and the baby, named Chun Chun, are doing fine. The paper said Chun Chun's parents are average size and there was nothing unusual about his mother's pregnancy or diet.

The paper said it wasn't immediately clear whether Chun Chun made China's record books. Guinness World Records says the heaviest newborn ever recorded was born to an Ohio woman in 1879 and weighed 23.7 pounds (10.77 kilograms).

Chinese troops play deadly game of pass-the-bomb

A video showing Chinese soldiers in a circle passing an explosive satchel from one man to another, until one of them decides to throw it in a hole just before it explodes, has been making the rounds online, leaving everyone flabbergasted.

Photos of South Korea’s special forces troops training in all kinds of extreme conditions have been showing up on the Internet for a few years now, but nothing those guys go through compares to the shocking drill the Chinese devised. During an exhibition drill in Hong Kong, last month, an elite garrison of 6,000 PLA troops staged a series of impressive exercises for the visit of the island’s chief executive, Sir Donald Tsang. Snipers shot tiny glasses, soldiers carried heavy logs and jumped through rings of fire, but nothing as incredible as a group of men playing a game of pass-the-bomb.

The lethal game is played by six soldiers standing in a circle with a dug whole in the middle. They pass an explosive satchel from one two another, counting down until it detonates. Just before it explodes, one of the soldiers throws it in the hole and they all leap away as the ground trembles and dirt starts flying from the pit. Any miscalculation could mean the end for all six players, but they don’t seem very intimidated by that. They just calmly pass the live satchel as if it were a simple bag.

One PLA officer said drills like pass-the-bomb were designed to improve “psychological strength” and forge “fighting spirit” through “nearly impossible tasks”. CCTV added that this kind of exercise helps soldiers remain calm when confronted with real emergencies. Well, if holding a live bomb in your hand doesn’t freak them out, I don’t know what will.

Chinese boy can read and see in total darkness

If you ever doubted real X-Men were among us, check out the neat super-power of Nong Youhui, a young Chinese boy who can see in total darkness.

Riddick, the cool antihero played by Vin Diesel in Pitch Black and The Chronicles of Riddick is one of my all-time favorite sci-fi movie characters, but I never dreamed of someday reading about somebody who could actually see in the dark. The first news about a little Chinese child with cat-like eyes who could see in the dark as well as normal people see in clear daylight, first broke out in 2009. Doctors who examined little Nong Youhui said he was born with a rare condition known as luekodermia, which leaves his eyes exposed to sunlight damage, but also allow him to see clearly in the dark.

An eye-specialist recently visited the boy, in his home village, in China’s Guanxi province, to examine his unusual eyes. the first thing he noticed when he arrived was that Nong’s eyes were light blue just like Westerners, but very unusual for Asians. He became even more intrigued when he noticed that when shined upon with a flashlight, the boy’s eyes would emit a kind of blue-green light, just like a cat’s. As it turned out, his eyes not only looked liked a feline’s they also allowed him to see and even read perfectly in total darkness.

Nong Shihua, the boy’s father, says two months after he was born, he was told there was something strange about Youhui’s eyes, but when they went to a hospital, the doctor told them not to worry, and that his eyes would be fine when he grew up. His eyes remained the same, but since they didn’t seem to bother the boy, his family began to care less and less about this abnormality. He would go to school, play outside with other kids, and pretty much everything else young boys his age do, but one day, a teacher noticed something peculiar – Youhui squinted his eyes in bright light and complained about blurry vision. Then one of the boy’s playmates told him his eyes were like a cat’s and that really got him intrigued.

The teacher shinned a flashlight and Nong Youhui’s eyes flashed back, just like a feline’s. He asked him if he could see in the dark, and the boy said yes. Then one night he invited him to catch crickets at night, and the Nong told him he didn’t need a flashlight to see the bugs. When rumors about his unusual gift spread, many reporters came and performed all kinds of tests to see if he was for real. They blocked out all light and had him answer some questions in the dark, while others showed him a series of playing cards, to see if he could recognize them. He past all tests, and his reputation of Cat-boy, Starchild, or real-life mutant kept growing.

Woman spends 902 days in the toilet

A woman who refused to leave her toilet for two-and-a-half years has spoken about why she refused to leave.

Mee Yan Leong sat down on the bowl in her bathroom on March 25, 2009. The 58-year-old woman claimed that she ‘felt a force holding her down’ and said she did not understand why she felt compelled to stay in the tiled bathroom.

She also told hospital staff she was scared of leaving the loo in case neighbours sprayed water at her or threw stones.

During her stay in the bathroom Leong lived on porridge, bread and biscuits prepared by her husband. Leong only leavs her seat 18 times to shower, after almost 1000 days her husband finally gave in, calling up the emergency services before she was forcibly removed from the bathroom.

They had to come into my flat, hold her down, then wrap her in a towel before using a wheelchair to take her to the hospital," said Kian.

Mee Yan Leong is now receiving treatment in a nearby mental institute.

Woman cuts off son's penis because she wanted a girl

A woman in Yancheng, a city in the eastern Jiangsu Province was given a five-year jail term for cutting off her five-month-old son's penis because she always wanted a daughter, the Jinling Evening News reported today.

The 23-year-old convict, Xiao Meng, gave birth to her son Yaya last March. Her husband surnamed Zhan and mother-in-law recalled that after Yaya was born, Xiao Meng often talked to herself: "I wish it could be a girl."

Zhan told the newspaper that his wife often slapped the baby and clutched him by the neck. However, he thought she was suffering postnatal depression and didn't worry too much.

The court heard that on August 15, 2011 Zhan's mother heard the baby crying. She rushed into the room and found Yaya's penis had already been cut by Xiao Meng with a pair of scissors.

Yaya was sent to hospital immediately. His life was not in danger and he can pee normally after treatment in Shanghai. But doctors said it is almost impossible for him to regain productivity.

In the court, Xiao Meng admitted that she bought the scissors and cut the penis on her own and she did this only because she wanted a daughter.

Zhan told the paper that Xiao Meng used to say that a son would be a big burden because the parents are responsible to buy him a house and get him a wife.

Chinese man has a staggering 25cm tongue

A 34-year-old man in China hasn’t been able to close his mouth for the past 21 years because a his huge tongue.

Wang Youping’s tongue measures a staggering 25cm long, 10cm wide and 7cm thick.

The enormous muscle has even forced his teeth to be squeezed horizontally, causing severe facial deformity.

When Mr Youping, from Shaanxi Province, was born his lips were swollen and dark and his left ear also appeared to bulge.

From the age of six his tongue and face began to swell and by the time he was 13, Mr Youping’s tongue had expanded so much that he was unable to close his mouth properly.

Since then he has also been unable to speak clearly, eat normally or breathe comfortably.

There is also a high risk that the vessels in his tongue could rupture and lead to a potentially fatal haemorrhage.

Over the years Mr Youping has visited many renowned hospitals in the country but each time was told that his condition was too complex to treat.

Now, after exploratory tests last year at 4th military hospital, Mr Youping is set to go under the knife again.

The hospital plans to take three years to perform a series of five different surgeries.

Chinese woman shun poor men and only date or marry the rich

Chinese women are increasingly becoming selective in dating, with vast majority of them openly preferring rich and well settled males than their poor counterparts.

Nearly 80 per cent of female respondents told a survey that men earning less than 4,000 yuan (RM2,047) a month should not start a relationship, state run China Daily reported today. More than a quarter of women polled expected to date men with a monthly income of 10,000 yuan or more.

The survey, polling more than 50,000 people nationwide aged from 20 to 60, was jointly conducted by the China Association of Social Workers and Baihe, a major dating and matchmaking website in China.

Female respondents regard having a stable income, savings and a house as the most important economic conditions for men they might consider marrying.

Less than six per cent of women said they did not care about the financial status of men.

Man kills woman to test his homemade gun

Police in northeast China's Jilin province said on Friday that they have arrested a man who gunned down a random pedestrian just to test the lethal power of a homemade weapon.
Jia Baodong, 41, was arrested on Sunday, 16 days after he shot dead a 40-year-old waitress who happened to walk into his sight as he tried to test the nail-gun-turned weapon in the city of Dunhua, said an official with the city's police bureau.

Police arrested Jia in his own home in the city of Jiaohe, less than two hours' drive from the crime scene, after visiting thousands of people for clues.

The man confessed that he took a train to Dunhua to find a target for his gun test on December 16.

Police also found several homemade guns, bullets and hundreds of steel balls in Jia's home.

Women in China looking for companionship can now cut through the hassle of meeting men, instead renting a boyfriend on e-commerce site Taobao for a set price, according to the Guangzhou-based Southern Metropolis Daily. The boyfriends are rented based on the services they provide to women, including holding hands, hugging and kissing. The temporary couples will typically go to movies, shopping, out to dinner, or another date chosen by the woman.

The price to rent a boyfriend varies. Ten yuan (US$2) is standard for a one-hour lunch. For an hour of shopping, the price doubles to 20 yuan (US$4). To rent a boyfriend for a full day, the cost can be upward of 100 yuan (US$15).

Most men who rent themselves out are looking for money, but some say they do it for love. A 28-year-old man from Foshan, Guangdong named Huang posted an ad with a high price of 500 yuan (US$79) to rent him. Huang says he hopes to find love and that if he finds a girl who really wants to marry him, he can adjust the price. One girl from Beijing has contacted him, but they have never met because of the distance between their homes.
