Hello There,
The issue of Palestine and Israel is currently in the spotlight, and everyone is talking about boycotts. It warms my heart to witness individuals embracing the power of boycotting, but it's important not to insult workers or those unable to participate. Surely, they have their reasons.
For me, boycotting is a wise and impactful effort, but it needs to be done right. Don't just do it impulsively. It's pointless if, for instance, McDonald's employees lose their jobs because of a three-month boycott. In the spirit of boycotting, let's support local economies. For instance, if you can't drink Starbucks, try a local coffee shop. If you can't eat at McDonald's, let's boost the business of our local burger , Abang Ramly. By channeling our preferences towards these small businesses, we not only contribute to their growth but also become significant contributors to our country's economy. Who knows, McDonald's employees might even find new opportunities there.
