Every Journey Is Unique

There is someone who says, 'Being pregnant at this age (in my 40s) is exhausting,' and I ask, 'Is it true?' She responds, 'Yes, it is,' questioning if it's still feasible to get pregnant at this older age. She expresses reluctance, stating that she is already weary.

However, this person has five children and can distinctly differentiate each childbirth experience. Some were challenging, some more straightforward. Of course, the last one was inevitably more tiring and draining. But I choose to perceive it positively.

I tell her, 'There's no difference for me in giving birth to a first or second child because I haven't experienced either.' I emphasize that there's no contrast for me between delivering at a young or older age because I haven't gone through it. Our phases differ, our paths aren't the same. So, everyone has their own unique experience and that's what makes each story special.

"P.S. I also have an adopted fur baby who joined the family

Blooms of Love: Choice Between Fresh and Artificial Flowers

Hi There,

Today, I want to talk about flowers. My husband recently got his master's degree, and I was excited to find the perfect bouquet for him. Luckily, there were many flower stalls at UKM with a variety of blooms, priced between 80 and 200, and some even more expensive. But, I faced a dilemma because the flowers were so beautiful, and the choices overwhelmed me. I also had to decide between fresh and artificial flowers.

Some say fake flowers last longer without wilting, ensuring that your love remains as enduring as artificial blossoms.

Hmm... I was almost about to buy them because, yes, I do want my love to last like those artificial blooms.

As I looked at fake flowers in a store, I kept looking back at real ones. It made me think about why I had to choose. Real flowers are full of life, but they don't last forever—they naturally fade away, like life does.

On the other hand, fake flowers never change. They stay pretty forever. But, they miss out on the real experiences of life, like growing in the sun or swaying in the wind. So, choosing between real and fake flowers is like choosing between something that doesn't last but has a real story, and something that looks good forever but misses out on real-life moments.

Basically, deciding between real and fake flowers is like thinking about whether we prefer things that last a short time but have a real story, or things that look good forever but miss out on the ups and downs of real life.

You can probably tell my choice. Live flowers will fade away, but that's just how life works. Artificial flowers, on the other hand, will never wilt, but they also never really experienced life.

A Heartwarming Journey at UKM Convocation

 Hi There.

Yesterday, I had the honor of attending my husband's convocation ceremony at UKM. And, congratulations, my love—you are now officially a master's degree holder. I couldn't be prouder of you.

I went with my in-laws, and only two people were allowed in the hall. I then extended my respect to my mother and father-in-law. For me, what my husband has achieved is the result of the prayers of his parents. But... I didn't have to wait outside completely.

Beyond the degree recipients and their parents seated in the Tun Abdul Razak Chancellor Hall (NECTAR), those without designated seats found a welcoming space in the Dewan Gemilang, conveniently located next to Nectar. The venue was quite comfortable, equipped with air conditioning—a relief. Additionally, my younger brother joined the celebration, bringing delicious food that made it feel like we were enjoying a movie with the large screen. A heartfelt thank you to UKM for providing such a comfortable and accommodating environment.

Inside Dewan Gemilang

It was a proud moment as everyone stood to pay respect during the playing of Negaraku. It has been a while since I attended any event with our national anthem, and I couldn't help but feel a sense of pride.

I will be uploading more photos later, as some of them are still in my younger sibling's camera.

Congratulations, my dear. I love you.

My IVF Journey 1: Ups and Downs

Hello there,

Becoming a mom has happy moments and tough times. My journey started when I chose to do IVF. Little did I know that this journey would not only make me happy about being pregnant but also make me face new challenges, checking how strong and determined I could be.

Since trying to conceive through IVF, I noticed significant changes in my body.. I gained weight, and losing those extra pounds felt really hard. The hormone injections made me super hungry all the time, and it was tough not to give in to eating too much...

As time passed, my body changed a lot, making me doubt myself and feel less confident. But my love for my husband and the dream of having a child motivated me strongly. Even with all the tough physical and emotional challenges, I was ready to face everything for the sake of creating this precious life together.

The exciting news came at last—I was pregnant. The joy was mixed with the understanding that my body had gained a lot of weight during this time. Things got more complicated when gestational diabetes (GDM)became part of the picture, adding an extra challenge to my pregnancy.

The weight, I must say, was quite alarming.. HAHHAHAH . During a visit to the doctor, I got a serious warning. The doctor firmly told me that I had to focus on my health. At first, I was stubborn and didn't pay much attention because hunger was always with me…But everything changed when the doctor stressed how it could affect the child I was carrying. That made me wake up and think about my choices. Allah.. I was scared to death… I decided to stick to a strict diet and lifestyle, determined to make sure both me and my unborn child were healthy.

In the following weeks, something amazing happened. Despite the difficulties, I was able to lose 5 kilos during my pregnancy. People were surprised; nurses checking my weight couldn't believe that instead of gaining weight like most pregnant women, I was actually getting thinner.

Allah... these are some memories of when I carried my Anak Syurgaku, Khadeeja. Sweet memories, even though it was difficult for me at that time. The happiness of those moments is much greater than the challenges I went through. Terima Kasih Allah kerana pernah meminjamkan Khadeeja buatku dan suamiku.

Until Next Time,

'Ain

Harini Happy Sangat: My Love for Planner and Journaling

Hey there, Planner Lover! Harini happy sangat! I can't contain my excitement, and I'm eager to share why. By the way, I'm a big fan of planners and journaling, and today is an extra special day because the planner I ordered is finally here.

Let me tell you why I have this deep love for journaling:

1. Functional Planning is My Jam

One of the main reasons why I adore journaling is because I love planning. There's something incredibly satisfying about laying out my goals, to-dos, and schedules in a visually appealing way. I'm all about functional planning that helps me stay organized and on top of things.

2. Documenting Life's Moments

Another aspect of journaling that brings me joy is capturing the moments that make up my life. Whether it's a small victory, a heartwarming experience, or a lesson learned, I love jotting down these snippets. It's like creating a timeline of memories that I can revisit whenever I want.

3. Brain Dumping – Therapeutic and Enlightening

And then there's the therapeutic aspect of journaling, especially the art of brain dumping. Pouring out my thoughts, feelings, and ideas onto paper is not only cathartic but also eye-opening. When I go back and read what I've written, I often discover new perspectives or solutions to challenges that seemed daunting at the time.

So, why am I exceptionally happy today? It's because the planner I ordered has finally arrived! This time, I opted for a local leather planner from "The Buku Girl." It's my third time ordering from her, and let me tell you, the craftsmanship is top-notch. I've also tried planners from Moterm and Yard and the leathersmith, and each has its unique charm. I'll delve into the details of each planner I own in a future post.

For now, let me give you a sneak peek into my latest addition – a personal-sized ring planner. Check out the video below for a closer look at the beauty of my new planner from "The Buku Girl."

I can't wait to fill the pages of this planner with my dreams, plans, and the beautiful chaos of life. Stay tuned for more detailed insights into my planner collection. Until then, happy planning and journaling, Planner Lover!!

Until Next Time,

Younger Generation: Semakin tak bertamadun?

Hello there,

I'd like to share my thoughts on the younger generation today. I must admit, I am genuinely find them quite impressive. Their self-presentation is empowering, especially in the corporate world. They excel in communication and presentation skills, and their language proficiency is truly praiseworthy. However, I've noticed a lack of empathy and manners at times. It's crucial, nonetheless, to show respect to elders in the workplace, as some lessons come from experience, not just academics.

It's sometimes disheartening to witness potential gaps in the current generation. Could it be that the higher their academic achievements, the lower their morals and manners? Shouldn't these aspects progress hand in hand?

Reflecting on my own learning days, I recall the "Tamadun Islam", where a society becomes civilized through the harmonious blend of good manners and knowledge, not knowledge alone. Indeed, is it appropriate for me to express concern about the potential decline of civilization with the current generation?

I recognize that some may see me as old-fashioned, voicing outdated sentiments. You might believe that manners are irrelevant. Not to mention bangsa dan agama lain…Still, I'm confident that all religions teach goodness. For the younger generation following Islam, it's crucial to remember that MANNERS are still emphasized in Islam.

Viral Bus Driver Kiss: False Accusation

 Hello There,

Recently, there has been a viral story about a female bus driver who is said to have engaged in inappropriate behavior inside the express bus she was driving. Recordings show a middle-aged man appearing to behave intimately with the female driver, and it's been said that because of their carelessness and distraction, the bus got delayed by three hours..

But a married couple sitting behind the driver disagrees with these claims. According to them, they had a clearer view of both the driver and the co-driver. The husband and wife say that the man accused of kissing the female driver didn't do what people are saying. Instead, he was just fixing the radio in the driver's headrest. They think the viral video is unfair because it doesn't show what really happened and only catches the incident from the wrong angle!

Talking about a three-hour delay, I couldn't help but wonder if perhaps Allah intended to protect her from something harmful. Regardless, it's essential to be cautious before spreading any information. We don't know the whole truth, and sometimes it's better for someone to remain silent.

Love, Lessons, and Life's Journey

In life's journey, there are moments that reveal the true essence of love. Alhamdulillah, recent challenges have taught me profound lessons..

Understanding a husband's love is beyond than fancy gifts like gold and gems. It's seen in vulnerable moments, like when you're sick and he cares for you, staying by your side, even when he's unwell himself.

Family is more important than titles and awards. When you're sick, it's not about having parents with prestigious titles but having those who are healthy and there to comfort you. True happiness comes not from having lots of friends but from siblings who might hurt you sometimes yet in moments of sickness, they become your greatest concern.

In life's journey, real friendship shows itself when things get tough. You, personally, figure out who truly stands as a friend..

My IVF Journey 1: A Journey of Healing After Losing Khadeeja

Welcome Back,

Losing Khadeeja was really tough for me, and it left a big hole in my life. When I was feeling sad, I started reading stories about the “Anak Syurga” to find comfort. By reading these stories, I find strength.

Every time I read a story, it made me feel a bit happy, even though I often ended up crying. Among the things that bring me immense joy is knowing that Khadeeja runs and plays in the gardens of Syurga Allah.

As I delved into these stories, I learned something important - the kids in Syurga will have a special place in Allah's beautiful mountains. What makes me happiest, as a mom, is that my dear Khadeeja is being taken care of by Prophet Ibrahim (AS) and Sarah (AS). Alhamdulillah, I feel reassured that they will always be okay in their special home.

In this heavenly place, there's a tree called Thuba that gives nourishing milk to everyone. MashaAllah…

Looking back on this journey, I remember how stressed I was before Khadeeja was born, especially about finding "Nanny". But Khadeeja understood. Khadeeja left me before I could give birth to her because she wanted to be cared for by Prophet Ibrahim Khalilullah, her guardian. And certainly, there is no "Nanny" in this world who can match him.

Thank you, Allah, for your blessings and for helping me through tough times. The stories of the “Anak Syurga” have been a source of healing for me, and I'm grateful for that.

Until Next Time,

'Ain

Uniqueness of My Journey

Hello There,

I've come to realize that I'm a bit unique. Everything about me happens at its own pace. I started with just a Diploma initially. But then, while working, I decided to pursue a Degree. And even though I was a bit behind others, I went on to obtain a Master's degree. Alhamdulillah, I stand here now, and some ask, "Why pursue a Master's? Is it really worthwhile?" Is it wrong? I pursued it for the love of knowledge.

Even during class, one lecturer asked, "Why do all of you want to pursue a Master's?" Responses varied. Some wanted to increase their income, and yes, most students answered this way. Because with the qualification, you get promoted and your salary increases. Some answered for the connections, a valid pursuit. Here, I met friends with businesses, from HR, and various fields. But why, when I say it's for knowledge, does it sound unrealistic? I mean, have we normalized the idea that life is solely about money, and seeking knowledge sounds fake? Yet, my pursuit was genuine—I sought knowledge.

Btw, My life's milestones arrived a bit later than usual. Let me list them down:

1. Got married a bit late.

2. Had children a bit late. (Actually, not yet, as my child passed away.)

3. Took my career seriously a bit late.

However, at the end of the day, whatever I desire in life, everything is granted by Allah. It's just a bit delayed. But I still feel fortunate because there are people who haven't yet achieved what they desire, even though some have. Some are still searching for happiness, even though they got married really early. But some are happy even though in their youth, they shed tears. So, in conclusion, our journey is very unique and different."

Until Next Time,

NALE - The Nasi Lemak Company at Mid Valley

Hello There..

I found a new place to eat that I really love - NALE at Mid Valley. I believe they have another outlet, conveniently located at i-City Mall. Let me tell you, it's an experience that is truly worth savoring.

Before I go further, how do you pronounce NALE? It's pronounced NA...LE, not like "Nail." It comes from the words "NAsi LEmak.".. Got it right?

The vibe at NALE is a perfect blend of comfy and charming. The moment you walk in, you feel a warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes the dining experience really nice. The service is also great and adds to the overall positive impression.

Now, let's talk about the star of the show - the nasi lemak. Finding one that aligns perfectly with my taste buds has always been a bit of a challenge. But NALE has nailed the essence of this beloved dish. It's not just good; it's downright delicious.

Take a look at the menu below... very appetizing

"So, take a look at what we ate that day. Don't let your mouth water too much!"HEHE

Nasi Lemak Ayam Bakar - Memang sedap gila

Nasi Lemak Ayam Goreng Bakar - A perfect blend of flavour

Supporting Local: Lets eat Burger Ramly

Hello There,

The issue of Palestine and Israel is currently in the spotlight, and everyone is talking about boycotts. It warms my heart to witness individuals embracing the power of boycotting, but it's important not to insult workers or those unable to participate. Surely, they have their reasons.

For me, boycotting is a wise and impactful effort, but it needs to be done right. Don't just do it impulsively. It's pointless if, for instance, McDonald's employees lose their jobs because of a three-month boycott. In the spirit of boycotting, let's support local economies. For instance, if you can't drink Starbucks, try a local coffee shop. If you can't eat at McDonald's, let's boost the business of our local burger , Abang Ramly. By channeling our preferences towards these small businesses, we not only contribute to their growth but also become significant contributors to our country's economy. Who knows, McDonald's employees might even find new opportunities there.

My IVF Journey 1: Journey of Love and Loss

Welcome back,

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim....

It's been a while since my last update, and I appreciate your patience and understanding. Recently, a new friend entered my life, and she wisely suggested that I consistently share my journey here. Thank you so much my dear friend.. and you know who you are...The reason? I want this blog to be a safe place where I can openly discuss my IVF journey, including its highs and lows.

Unfortunately, I must share the news that my first successful IVF,  I tragically lost my first child. The pain is deep and the feelings are unfiltered. Yet, I believe in the power of sharing our stories to heal and connect with others who may be on similar paths..Insyallah..

To those who have supported me throughout this challenging time— nenek, mama, papa, ayah, mak, my both side siblings, and friends—I want to express my heartfelt gratitude. Your presence and comforting words mean the world to me.

I would especially like to thank my beloved hubby. Your consistent support and uplifting words have been my source of strength.. Abang, You are the most important person in my life. Alhamdulillah..

In the midst of my grief, I find solace in the unwavering belief that Allah is with me. And, truly, I redha... My heart holds both sorrow and acceptance, for my precious Khadeeja now awaits mummy and daddy in Syurga Allah.

It's a journey of profound loss, but I find comfort in the knowledge that my dear child is in a better place. To Khadeeja, anak syurga mummy, Mummy wants you to know that mummy and daddy love you dearly, and our love for you goes beyond the limits of this world.
