Woman uses breast milk as weapon

Usually when one is charged with assault, it is mostly either physical or verbal. The news below I read from 6abc.com is bizarre and hilarious!

In Ohio, a woman used her own breast milk as a weapon.
Sheriff's deputies in Delaware, Ohio, say they responded to a call about a domestic dispute over the weekend. A man told the police that his wife had been drinking at a wedding, and that she had hit him several times before locking herself in a car.

Deputies who arrived at the scene said the woman, Stephanie Robinette aged 30, was yelling profanities and refused to get out of the car.

When the deputies tried to remove her from the car, she told the police that she is a breast-feeding mother and she then exposed part of her chest and sprayed them with breast milk.

Robinette faces charges including assault and disorderly conduct.

Can we change racial stigma?

Yesterday I was on my way driving home after dinner and I met with an Indian hooligan on a motorcycle bearing the number plat BGU 5221. The Indian motorcyclist beat the red light and we met at the T-junction. He got irked at me as I had the right of the road and when we reached another traffic light, he stopped by my side and started to use vulgarities and kicked my car. I wound down my car window slightly and asked why did he kick my car and he got even angrier. To cut the story short, he eventually rode off swearing at me.

Once I read an article about how people generally labelled Malaysian Indians as gangsters especially those are of dark skin. I bet those who mentioned that are those who personally had a awful experienced them. I’m not trying to be racial or racist but it is because of a few bad apples it spoils the whole basket. I believe whatever race or culture we are, the way we carry ourselves are important. When there is a too many bad encounters with a certain race, people will remember your race for the bad doing rather than the individual itself. People will start to think that this particular race carries bad culture and the people from that race are labelled negatively. Before we react or we do anything, we need to think of the impact it will cause to ourselves and our society. We are responsible for our act and not the race itself. It is never easy to erase the stigma and negative perception but to change it, it always starts from an individual and carried by another individual.

I still believe and want to believe that there are good Samaritans out there be it Malay, Chinese or Indian. For the the readers or anyone who knows the Indian guy on the motorcycle bearing the number plate BGU 5221, tell him not be the rotten apple and in the end spoils the whole basket. You may think you are a HERO but you a ZERO if you bring shame to yourself, family and race.

Loses dignity due to materialism

Today I read from The Star Online that schoolgirls are on the roam on Facebook selling their bodies for between RM300 to RM600. These girls sell their body to sustain their luxurious lifestyle and some earning as much as RM3,000 a month. Materialism overshadowed their conscience and has brought these girls to lost their morale and dignity.

As I read about this news I recalled an incident where my friend once shared with me that there is this chinese girl on Facebook plainly adding strangers as friends on her Facebook. I was told that this girl was adding mainly male friends and try to be “friendly” to them. I suspect this girl is one of the schoolgirls that are selling their body. Their act is blunt and bold without shame. Fortunately my friend is wise enough not to get in contact with her by not looking for trouble.

As for parents, do spend time with your child and monitor their activities. It’s good to counsel children and teach them with love. Always be in tab with the friends they mix in order that they do not go astray. Of course, one of the effective ways is to have your children deeply rooted in religion and God fearing.

For your information, if one is caught having sex with a minor, even though it is consensual, it is still amount to statutory rape and one can be jailed and whipped. Apart from that, one may also contract STD which can be deadly. Well, it is advisable to screen through who you are adding and some people are not the type of friends whom you want to get to know off. Let not fall into temptation that leads to further destruction and regrets.

Puppy Roasted Alive

A woman in China is seen roasting a puppy alive over the fire. The act was done in the streets in front of a small crowd watching including children. The woman was pictured holding a pair of tongs and roasting the poor puppy with the help of another woman. The puppy became stiff and its skin turned charred.
In certain parts of China, dog meat is one the locals’ food consumption diet and has long been thought by some to have medicinal properties, and is especially popular in winter months, as it is believed to generate heat and promote bodily warmth. Controversy arise on the methods the animals are killed for food is cruel and ruthless where there are times the animals are skinned or cooked alive. The pictures post on Chinasmack carried many furious comments from animal lovers whereby the act is labelled as barbaric and inhumane. Please take note the pictures that you are about to view is disturbing.

Malaysian Tourism spend RM1.8 million in Facebook

Recent news reported that our Malaysian government spend a whopping RM1.8 million on 6 Facebook pages to promote Malaysian Tourism. Sound like a good effort? In fact it has caused an outcry among the public.

Each of the pages cost about RM300,000 and their top pages has so far attracted about 20,000 likes. This means that the government spends approximately RM15 for each Facebook likes. According to Datuk Seri Dr. Ng Yen Yen, RM1.8 million included costs for designing, flash programming and coding, testing and debugging, uploading and launching the application, system server deployment and campaign management.

There are many disgruntled Malaysians on the government’s action on spending RM1.8million on Facebook and a Facebook page Curi-Curi Wang Malaysia was started and has already garnered 35,000 likes. Curi-Curi Wang Malaysia has gained more Facebook likes in comparison to any of Malaysian Tourism Facebook pages. You can check it out at here.

Do you think is it worth the money spend? Or is a mismanagement that is wasting tax payers’ money?

Fake guitars in the market

I stumbled on an ad in a local online selling/buying site selling guitars and what caught my attention was its cheap price. I found out that the seller is selling fake branded guitars. Gone are the days where only fake branded handbags and clothing romp the market. Now the market is being plague by fake branded guitars.
For an avid guitarist, fake guitars are spoiling the market. There are many fake guitars carrying famous brands such as Gibson, Fender, Epiphone, ESP and Ibanez.  Many unsuspecting buyers get conned by the low price. One should not buy a fake guitar because it is of inferior build quality, sub-par sounding and poor workmanship. You can spot a fake guitar by its headstock, material used, finishing and also its sound. The fonts on the headstock maybe wrong, the finishing of the guitar is poor and the materials used aren’t the same as the original ones such as the pickup and the wood. If you are still uncertain on the authenticity of the guitar, you can ask an experienced friend to tag along when you buy a guitar.
For your peace of mind, it is advisable to go directly to the authorized distributor to get your axe as you are rest assured that the guitar is genuine. Below are the lists of authorized distributor that distributes original guitars in Malaysia:
Bentley Music: Fender, Ibanez, PRS, Jackson, Takamine, Taylor

The Guitar Store: Godin, Maton, Norman, Cort

The Guitar Collection: ESP, Seagull, Art & Lutherie, Martin & Co.

Ultimate Music: Schecter

Menuetto Music: Gibson, Epiphone, Cort
If you are in a tight budget, there are many decent quality guitar that are not branded but worth looking at. You just have to ask and scout around. Happy jamming!

Are love skin deep?

This morning I read about a news in a major local daily that highlighted a woman’s plight on claiming compensation for the ugly turnout of her surgery on her breasts. The 30 year old woman, hailed from Pahang, had her breasts enlarged to surprise her boyfriend of 5 years relationship. Her boyfriend wished that she is thinner and had bigger breasts. The fat from her hip and waist was removed through liposuction and transferred to her breasts. The surgery was done in one of a surgery centre in Mid Valley. Her ordeal turned awry and now the surgeon and the centre refused to compensate her for the mistake done. It was believed that the surgeon did not follow the right procedures in carrying out the surgery. To make matters worst, her boyfriend jilted her.
Are love just skin deep? Love is beyond the outer skin. It is all about loving the person inside out. One should love their better half for who he/she is. When one walks down the aisle, the marriage vows exchanged for better for worse, for richer for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish till death do us part has lost its significance when love is just skin deep. Girlfriends, in fact wives too, should never go under the knife in the name of love. If your boyfriend just love you skin deep, leave him! He is not worth your time, effort and love. He should respect you and your body. On the first place one should not give their body to their partner before marriage. It is defiling Islam (I believe other religions holds on to that principle too) and yourself. Husbands that force their wives to go under the knife might also leave their wives if things turn awry; leaving the wives in a dilemma.
Women out there, your body is your right and love your body that God has given you. For those who is considering to go under the knife, scrap your plans and learn this lesson before it’s too late.

Are wives SEX OBJECTS?

Recently The Obedient Wives Club (OWC) had a seminar on sex lessons to help wives to serve their husbands better than first-class prostitues. I admit that their intention is right to promote harmonious marriages and curb social ills but I find that the approach is wrong. According to OWC, wives should obey, serve and entertain their husbands and wives that are abused are most likely their fault for not listening to their husband. I seriously find this statement ridiculous. Wives are not sex objects to their husbands and wives has their own rights.
In marriages, it takes two to tango. Yes, the wife should submit to their husbands out of love and the husband should love the wife wholeheartedly. It is never one-sided where the husband is always at the receiving end. The husband should play a role in the marriage to make it work by loving his wife and not seek extra marital affairs outside. If he is a responsible man and deeply rooted in his religion, he will have the conscience that looking for sex outside marriage is sin. In an event a husband forces himself on the wife, it is rape and he has no respect for his wife. Sex is beautiful and made by God for procreation and a way for married couples to express their love. But definitely not for lust or any form to demonstrate his power.
OWC should help married couples in a different approach by providing counselling such as a better communication between husband and wife and living a harmonious marriage in an Islamic way. As i’ve stressed earlier, a harmonious marriage is whereby both husband and wife are deeply rooted in their religion and it takes both hands to clap.
