Chinese man trains his dog to do shopping for him

Some dogs bring their owner a newspaper or their slippers -- but this one goes much further and even does the shopping.
A man in China has found one more reason that dogs are man's best friend. He's trained his dog to go grocery shopping for him.

The dog carries a basket in his mouth with a shopping list and money to the store. Shopkeepers look out for the dog and they send him home with everything on the list.

The man says he used to take the dog to the store with him and trained him to carry the bag home. Eventually he started sending the dog out by himself.

It could be all about the reward at the end. When the dog gets home, he gets a treat of sausage and ice cream.

You can watch the video here.

I'm inspired and for the start, I will now train my cat to wash my clothes. Haha!

Girlfriend cursed boyfriend: A man without money is like rubbish

A recent video of a Chinese girl scolding her boyfriend for having no money has gone viral and sparked a debate over the Internet where people resent the woman’s behavior, while some speculate that this is a publicity stunt.
In a video shot in subway, a woman curses his boyfriend, saying “a man without money is like rubbish.” The woman in the video speaks in Beijing dialect, kept scolding her boyfriend by saying “a man without money is like rubbish”. She also rebuked him that he should not marry her if he has no money. Although being cursed in public, he remained silent with his head down. The abusive woman reprimand his silence as depicting himself as a "useless being.” Seeing her boyfriend is still silent, the angry woman gets off the train and leaves his behind. The whole scene was captured by a passenger and up loaded to the Internet, which caused wide controversy among netizens.
I had a friend who was ditched by his girlfriend many years ago as she felt that my friend wasn’t capable and good enough for her. His girlfriend thought highly of herself and she felt that she deserves a guy which is better in career and financial wise. As my friend was just a fresh graduate, he started out low and he toiled his way to the top. Now he is better off financially and in career in comparison to his ex-girlfriend. Well, see who has the last laugh now, huh?
The moral of the story is never to despise anyone. One day he or she will turn out to be a successful person. Well, to this girl in the video, don’t be too proud as one day your boyfriend will have the last laugh!

Girlfriend runs away from Mama's boy

What if your boyfriend always opposed you by saying, 'Mum said this,' 'Mum said that'? A 28-year-old woman in Chongqing finally couldn't stand it anymore and 'ran away from home' on Nov 19.

The woman, who declined to give her name, had been in love with her boyfriend, 29, for three years. But the man found she was gone on Nov 19. He dialed 110 before police found her at Changshou Railway Station in Chongqing.

'Whenever we buy something, he would ask his mother's opinion first," the woman said. Once they went to buy a bed, she preferred a soft mattress but the man disagreed because 'mum said soft mattress is no good'. They haven't reached an agreement on that yet.

The woman likes wearing flat-heeled shoes but her boyfriend often told her, 'Mum said high-heeled shoes make women look elegant.' The woman said she was annoyed for by his constant 'mum said' and lack of his own ideas. 'I couldn't stand it anymore,' said the woman, who said she was actually going on a business trip without telling him. She said she just wanted to scare him and expected him to change.

I've met men who are mama's boy where his mother will do everything for him, in which it is quite common, but I've not met any men who is such an extreme where his mother decides everything. Have you met anyone worst than this?

Indian drunkard sells daughter to feed his booze

Alcoholism is no laughing matter; people go to the bizarre depths just to satisfy their urge to drink. For one man in India, turning tricks on the street apparently wasn’t good enough for him. He tried to auction off his six-year-old daughter for booze money.

Krishnaiah, 40, was refused a purchase of $21 worth of booze at a store in Kadapa due to already having racked up a huge tab.

Rejected and clearly in need of alcohol, the laborer, known in town as a drunk, went to a nearby town and placed his daughter on the auction block.

The daughter was auctioned openly, and one man, Mohd Bash, walked away with the poor girl for an astounding $21, or 1,000 rupees. How convenient.

Bash, afraid of what would happen if the police found out, ditched the girl and left.

What happened to Krishnaiah? Well, the police arrived and he was beaten up, then arrested. The fate of the girl isn’t known, but with luck she won’t be sold again.

Angered by the action of the woman in the silver car, the driver in the blue car rammed into the woman's car. The woman later alighted from her car but before she can walk to the driver in the other, her car was rammed again causing her to fall.

Man arrested for masturbating during bus ride

He was having a little too much fun on this ride.

A Brooklyn man was busted on a Philly-Chinatown bus yesterday for pleasuring himself in front of disgusted fellow riders, police said.

“He was staring back at me the whole time,” horrified passenger Iliana Martinez, 37, told The Post. “He wanted me to see him. He gave me a dirty look, like: ‘Look what I’m doing on the bus.’ ”

Martinez, of Blackwood, NJ, got on the bus in Philadelphia for a cheap ride into the city to visit her sister.

It’s a trip she often makes with her 18-year-old daughter, who was not with her this time. Genrong Zhang was sitting in front of her, and when she realized what he was doing, “I kicked his chair” to get him to stop, she said.

“He looked back at me and smirked. It’s sick. My daughter could have been with me.”

Martinez called the cops, prompting the bus driver to pull over at Pike Street and Broadway.

“They locked the doors and told everyone to stay calm,” Martinez said.

Meanwhile, Zhang, 39, of Brooklyn, pretended to be asleep, Martinez said.

But cops weren’t fooled, and hauled Zhang away, charging him with public lewdness.

“I was scared and I was offended,” Martinez said. “It was really disrespectful.

“He’s a jerk-off,” she said. “He deserves that name.”

Tibetan rights group releases video allegedly shows nun burning

A Tibetan rights group has released graphic video of what it says is a Buddhist nun setting herself on fire in one of several apparent protests against Chinese rule.

Footage obtained by Students for a Free Tibet purports to show 35-year-old Palden Choetso. Her death on November 03 in predominantly Tibetan Ganzi prefecture in Sichuan province has previously been reported.

The video shows a woman in nun's robes standing on a street corner engulfed in flame.

It also shows about 10,000 mourners gathering at a monastery for a candlelight vigil to pay their respects to the nun while about 1,000 monks and nuns hold prayers inside.
At least 11 monks, nuns, and former monks have self-immolated this year in what are seen as acts of desperation.

Ex-millionaire happier without his money

If you are a millionaire, what will you do with your money? Buy a sports car? Buy a mansion? Or give it all away?

A millionaire who gave away all his cash to charity two years ago because it didn't make him happy has told how he's finally found contentment.

Businessman Karl Rabeder, 49 - from Telfs, Austria - sold his business, a luxury Alpine mansion, limos and sports cars, a private plane and donated the cash to a charity that sponsors small loans to customers in the Third World who would never be given cash by a bank.

He now lives on £1,000 a month from fees for talks to businessmen about his new life and is buying a modest home.

"Only now am I happy. If you write down the things that really make you happy and their cost, you will realise what I mean," said Rabeder.

"Love, sunshine, fresh air - those are the things that make me happy," he added.

And he thanked the charity for taking his cash and finally letting him enjoy life.

"Having only a little money makes me happier. Seeing pictures of me back then as a millionaire, I look so miserable," he said.

It's truly amazing that Karl Rabeder found happiness by giving away his money. Will you give away all your money in search of happiness? If you do, give it to me!!

Loyal dog guards the grave of deceased master

People living in a Chinese village have been so moved by a dog that has been guarding the grave of its deceased owner they plan to build a kennel for him.

The yellow dog belonged to Lao Pan, a single man who died earlier this month aged 68.
After his room in Panjiatun village near Qingdao city, Shandong Province, was cleared his dog disappeared.
But villagers later found the dog by the grave of its owner. Reports say that for seven days, the dog stayed there, refusing to leave.
Seeing that the dog was going without food, the locals tried to take it back to the village and gave it some buns.
The dog took the buns and returned to the graveyard.
Now the villagers are taking food and water to the dog regularly and plan to put up a kennel for it near its owner's grave.

The story is reminiscent of Edinburgh's Greyfriar Bobby, a Skye terrier who, history recalls, spent 14 years at his master's grave in the 19th century.
He is now immortalised with a bronze statue in the city and has his own website.
Bobby belonged to John Gray, who worked for Edinburgh City Police. He was two when Gray died of tuberculosis in 1858 and was buried in Greyfriars Kirkyard.

The dog apparently spent the rest of his life sitting on his master's grave, cared for by well-wishers. Several books and films have been based on his story.

Children shamed robber into fleeing

An armed robber who held up a babysitter was shamed into leaving empty-handed when two young children offered him their pocket money.

The man had rung the doorbell of a house in the German town of Schwanewede, near Bremen, and then forced his way in, reports The Local.

Armed with a gun and wearing a balaclava, the man had the terrified babysitter at gunpoint when the children she was looking after, came downstairs.

When they offered him their savings, he was apparently overcome with shame and left the house without a word - or a penny.

"The children had heard what was going on from upstairs and came down with their money, all their savings," a police spokesman said.

He said he was not releasing the ages of the children in order to protect them from being identified, but that they were both younger than seven.

"The robber must have realised what he was doing was awful, and simply put his gun away and left," added the spokesman.

At least the robber has some conscience not to rob and harm children. Isn't that bad after all, eh?

Naked 60-year old woman go on street rampage

Now that we think about it, it probably is really hard to even try and control a naked 60-year-old woman on a rampage. Especially when she is running through a Chinese restaurant in Bay Ridge or running out into the street to spread eagle on the roof of a car. Police were eventually able to control the woman, but not before a crowd of nearly 300 onlookers gathered to watch her public meltdown.

The incident took place after 3 p.m. on Thursday in Bay Ridge on Third Avenue between 80th and 81st Streets. The woman in question, who police are declining to identify, was apparently a regular on the strip known for muttering to herself but had never been known to do anything like this. Apparently what set her off was seeing something that said "Free" (possibly "free delivery") in the window of Dragon China between 79th and 80th Streets. When the cashier there told her that everything wasn't free the woman started screaming, stripping her clothes off and throwing things around.
"This old lady was trashing the place," Noreen Monier, who owns a nearby store, told The Brooklyn paper. "I told her to stop and she threw a watermelon at me. She had superhuman strength. She said, 'I’ll stop when I’m good and ready.'" She really had at the place, too. Reportedly picking up phones, answering calls and throwing money around.

After doing more damage there the woman moved to the streets and laid down on the hood of a black convertible, whose driver didn’t know what to do. Finally, the police get her under control, but it took a lot of effort.

At least nobody was hurt. It is unclear if the woman, who is clearly disturbed, has been charged with anything at this time.

Chinese students sell ova in the black market.

An illegal trade in female ova is booming in Beijing, targeting girl students from famous universities, who can sell their eggs at prices ranging from several to tens of thousands of yuan, the Beijing News reported.

Usually an egg is sold for 5,000 yuan (US$786), but the price can rise to as high as 30,000 yuan if the sellers are students at Peking University and Tsinghua University, considered two of the best in China, the report said.

Under Chinese law, it is illegal to buy human eggs or receive them for free. Only women who have extra eggs while undergoing vitro fertilization can donate eggs to others. But this is extremely rare and unlikely to happen, said Xue Qing, a doctor at the Maternity and Children's Hospital of Peking University.

However, the ban has spurred an underground market where infertile couples are happy to pay 50,000 to 100,000 yuan to agencies to find women willing to sell their eggs.

There are several hundred agencies with thousands of staff providing services to around 10,000 couples each year in the industry, Wang Chao, a man who had been in the business for more than eight years, told the newspaper.

The demand for eggs is huge, Wang added.

More than 10 young girls, who are all from famous universities in Beijing, sat in a café.

Clients - most of whom are couples - sat not far away from the girls. They stared at each girl carefully. A woman client with an LV bag stepped forward to look carefully.
They could not talk directly, but through agents, who conveyed information on the girls' height, blood type, hobbies, etc.

This is a black market for ova and it's a tip of the iceberg in Beijing or the country.
Li Qing (not her real name), 20, a university student in Beijing, underwent an ovum "donation" operation in early 2010.

After physical examination, she was injected with medicine that speeds up the formation of ova, she said. "One needle per day for 8 consecutive days." She didn't feel any different except aches in her arms after each injection.

After that she had to undergo an operation to retrive the ova. It did not involve cutting. A tube was inserted into her vagina before an ovum was taken out and frozen immediately. Li said she felt uncomfortable during the operation; but after a few days she recovered. She got "nutrition fees" before the operation.

"I do not feel regret,"she said, but she said she would never let her friends or relatives know about it.
The ovum was fertilized with sperm outside her body through medical techniques before it was put into a female client or surrogate, said an anonymous staff member of the agency. "This is forbidden in regular hospitals and so it is often done in private or foreign hospitals," he added.

Xue warned that inducing ovulation carries the risk of ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome which could lead to bloating, pulmonary embolism, kidney failure and can even prove fatal.

Experts said as the surgeries were done in private it would be difficult for sellers to protect their rights.

7 year old Indian girl weeps stone

Doctors in India were baffled when they discovered that a 7-year-old girl wept stones, and are unable to determine the cause of the phenomenon.

According to local newspaper Tamil Nesan, Kura Nitya from a village near Hyderabad has been discharging stones from her right eye for the past 15 days.

She has been weeping about 12 to 25 stones a day.

Her parents have approached several ophthalmologists, who were unable to diagnose what was causing the problem.

Her grandfather Gopal Reddy said that the stones began popping out on October 26.

“Initially, we thought it was some divine power and prayed to God for this phenomenon to stop,” the Star Online quoted Reddy as saying.

They kept the stones for medical tests.

Nitya said the lower portion of her right eye swelled minutes before the stones painlessly popped out.

Ophthalmologist Dr Kalyan Chakaravarthy said Nitya was medically fit and there was no logical reason for the phenomenon.

Imagine if some where in the other parts of the world, a boy or girl weeps precious stones. Wow! That'll be truly amazing!

Man severed his finger and grows new fingertip on stomach

Doctors in China saved a man's partially-severed finger - by attaching it to his stomach.

Furniture worker Wang Yongjun, 20, cut off the end of his middle finger with an electric saw in an accident at work.

Wang, of Liaoyang, Liaoning Province, was rushed to hospital where doctors had to think fast.
Dr Huang Xuesong said the muscle and skin had been cut away from the end of his finger leaving only the bone showing.

"We had to make a quick decision or he could have lost his finger. We decided to cultivate a new fingertip on his stomach," he said.

Doctors operated and attached Wang's finger to his stomach in the hope that new skin and muscle would grow around it.

Dr Huang said the technique was a way of restoring blood circulation to the injured finger so that the body could repair itself.

He says the surgery was a complete success and that Wang would have a brand new fingertip - separated from his stomach - within a month.

Wow! That's a brilliant idea! What do you think?

Singaporean man bringing his family for a holiday to space

Oh my god! Our neighbor, a Singaporean, is freaking rich that he decides to have a holiday in space! I wonder who this wealthy man is. Go read about it below:
A Singaporean businessman, his wife and two children have paid US$1 million to become the first Asian family to fly together on space-tourism airline Virgin Galactic, the company announced Monday.
“I had lunch yesterday with a guy who got in touch with us in Singapore, and over lunch he signed his contract for not just a seat, but for a whole flight,” Virgin Galactic Commercial Director Stephen Attenborough said.
Speaking at an international media and marketing conference in Singapore, Attenborough said the customer handed over a check for US$1 million and asked to remain anonymous because “apparently he hasn't told his wife yet.”
“So he is going to become, or he and his family will become, the first family from Asia to become astronauts together,” Attenborough said.
The U.S.-based firm, part of British tycoon Richard Branson's Virgin conglomerate, has sold bookings since 2005 at US$200,000 per seat even though it has not yet set a firm timetable for space flights to be launched from New Mexico.
Branson announced in late 2004 that the firm would launch the world's first space tourism flights in two to three years but after delays, the target has now been moved to 2013.
Attenborough told AFP in an interview that the Singaporean businessman chartered one exclusive flight for his family on the six-seat aircraft SpaceShipTwo.
The SpaceshipTwo, with two pilots, is designed to be launched by a transport plane called White KnightTwo and will be guided by a rocket motor before gliding back to Earth.
“They should be flying in the first year of commercial operations. They'll be within the first thousand human beings to have ever gone to space, or they should be,” Attenborough said.
He said nine out of nearly 500 tickets sold worldwide had been bought by customers in Singapore, which has one of Asia's highest concentrations of millionaires.
Families from other countries such as Canada, the United States and Britain have also bought tickets, Attenborough said.
“About 35 to 40 percent are from the United States, 15 percent from the UK... I think there are 46 countries now represented in total and for many of those countries, the people will be the first astronaut for that country,” he said.
Customers from the Asia-Pacific region now account for “approximately 15 percent” of ticket sales despite a ban on Virgin Galactic selling seats in China, the region's biggest economy.
“The space vehicle is US technology and they fall under a set of regulations in the United States which means that there are some countries where at the moment we're not permitted to sell tickets,” he explained.
“I think Asia is a huge opportunity for us, absolutely. Just the interest we've had from Singapore, which is a fairly small part of Asia, I've been extremely impressed,” he said.
“We have seen an increasing amount of interest from this part of the world and hopefully that will translate into lots of future astronauts.”
In anticipation of burgeoning future demand for space tourism, Attenborough said Virgin Galactic had already ordered more spacecraft.
Attenborough said the company expected to take three years to recoup its investments, which he estimated at US$300 million to US$400 million, with one flight a week when commercial operations begin.
If everything goes smoothly, “we would hope to be flying people to space by 2013,” he said.

If one day I can afford to send myself to space for a holiday, will I be granted the title of "Datuk" just like our Malaysian angkasawan?

Nude German woman buys cigarrettes at a gas station

A gas station in Dömitz, Germany got some publicity in the German tabloids after a woman strolled in to buy cigarettes. Now, that in itself is not newsworthy.

What is, however, is that the blond, tattooed woman was buck-freaking-naked, save for a pair of gold stiletto heels and a bracelet. After casually going about her business inside the station's convenience store, she walked back out, climbed into the passenger seat of a waiting Ferrari F430, and drove off.

The employee inside the shop was unfazed, telling reporters, "I wasn't surprised. She's come in naked before. She's a very nice woman." Her birthday-suit shopping trip was caught on camera by another customer at the filling station, and those pictures made it into the German tabs, where nudity is not an obstacle. This kind of stuff never happens around us when we run into the Mobil for a cup of coffee.

Man saved woman accused of Peeping Tom

A "good samaritan" accused of being a Peeping Tom called police shortly after discovering that a female neighbor was being attacked by a man masquerading as a potential tenant interested in renting her apartment in Guangzhou. The police were able to rescue the woman from being assaulted, the local Nanfang Daily reports.

Last Thursday evening, a woman in her twenties showed her room in Guangzhou's Tianhe district to a male tenant. Upon entering the apartment, the man used telephone wires to tie the victim's hands behind her back, and began cutting her arms with a knife, forcing her to hand over the password to her bank account. The man also cut off a piece from the victim's skirt and stuffed it into her mouth in order to prevent her from screaming.

Later, the assailant forced the victim to take off her clothes, and he allegedly attempted to rape her.

A group of policemen then rushed into the room and saved the woman. According to the newspaper, the police received a report from a man surnamed Huang, who was in a building next to the victim's apartment.

"Her door is usually open, but was closed at that time," Huang told the police, according to the Nanfang Daily. Huang did not call the police immediately, but climbed a wall to ask a neighbor who lived in the same building as the victim to report the incident.

The police found that Huang was very familiar with the victim's apartment and began to doubt his reasoning for not calling in the incident immediately.

A neighbor said she had in the past witnessed Huang watching the victim while she was in the bath. The victim also told the police that she had at many times felt as though someone was watching her; Huang refuted the accusation, claiming that he simply pays close attention to detail.

It's a bizzare string of events. The man might have intentions to help but being accused falsely for his good deed. Or he might have intentions of voyeurism and so happen stumbled a crime and decided to help. If he decides to help, he is being accused of peeping tom but if he decides to walk away, he will blame for lack of humanity. Either actions will bring him harm.

Husband hides in the next room while wife is being beaten and raped.

This is a really heart-wrenching real life incident reported in chinahush.com of a coward husband who let his wife bite the bullet.

In a small rented apartment in Bao’an District, Shenzhen, 29-year-old Wang Juan lies on the bed staring at the ceiling, she looks pale and trembling. Suddenly she sits up, puts her hands in the air and wave frantically and starts crying.  For the past half month, she couldn’t eat or drink regularly and attempted suicide several times. She has gone delirious after what happened on Oct 23rd night. She couldn’t decide which man did more harm to her – the joint-defense personnel (similar to neighborhood patrol) who beat and raped her for an hour, or her husband who hid in the next room trembling the whole time and too scared to even call the cops.

Yang Wu, 31 years old, runs a home appliance repair shop in Xixiang Street, Bao’an District in Shenzhen. His repair shop only makes about 1000 yuan per month, barely covers the family’s table. What’s worse, the shop is constantly harassed but Yang Wu always turns the other cheek just to get by with his second wife Wang Juan.

The seemingly peaceful life as they prefer was disrupted on Oct 23rd night when a drunk joint-defense team personnel Yang Xili along with two other strong hunks came into their shop smashing everything with steel pipe and baton and yelling “I will make you suffer to dead”. In Yang Wu’s eye, Yang Xili was really “flippant, unstoppable and often beat people up and smash cars”, instead of performing his duty of protecting the neighborhood and assisting police work.
When Yang Xili rushed in, Yang Wu just got out of the shower and his wife Wang Juan was doing house work. Yang Wu immediately fled into the storage room to escape being beaten up, whereas her wife came up to stop the smashing. Yang Xili grabbed her hair and pushed her towards the table. The more Wang Juan resisted, the more violent Yang Xili bashed her and shouted: “I am a joint-defense team personnel, brother of the police, it is useless to call the cops.”

Yang Xili also used the steel pipe to threaten Yang Wu’s 76-year-old mother and his 13-year-old daughter, driving them far away from off the house. Yang Wu as man of the house witnessed the whole thing while holding his breathe in the corner. He thought Yang Xili got tired and left just like before. He was wrong.

A few minutes later, Yang Xili returned and ordered the other two strong men to watch for him at the door. Then it came Wang Juan’s screaming for help. Yang Xili swore and forced to fumble all over Wang Juan’s body. Wang Juan resisted only to get another round of walloping. After 20 minutes of beating, Yang Xili started tearing Wang Juan’s clothes, and dragged her into the bed room. Yang Wu heard his wife getting abused and raped.

In this less than 50 sqm apartment, the room where the violence took place and the storage room was so close that the hiding spot of Yang Wu was less than 2 m from the bed. Yang Wu could hear clearly what’s happening. In fact, he could see the living room and the bed room clearly if he could just raise his head. However, Yang Wu only hid there in tears, biting his lips for fear of making sound.

An hour later, he finally plucked up his courage and dialed 110. He was so weak and shivering that he only whispered into the phone “my wife was raped”, which was mistaken with “robbed” by the operator due the low voice. After a few round of calling 110, Yang Wu finally managed to report the situation and told the police the crime scene. A few minutes later, Yang Wu came out of the storage room seeing the police arriving. Yang Xili has finished rape but was still beating his wife in nakedness. Lots of blood on the floor. Yang Xili picked up his pants and tried to escape while Yang Wu was looking for clothes to cover his wife. Yang Wu grappled with him until the police came in.

Wang Juan in a mass of bruises and blood all over her face, murmured: “I don’t have face to live on, rather just die.” She cried and scolded at the sight of his husband: “You are not a man.” Yang Wu’s mother also cried and hit his son while crying “useless husband, useless son. My son is too weak, he failed my daughter-in-law”. She kneeled on the floor, begging for Wang Juan’s forgiveness.

Yang Wu wept: “I wanted to rush in there with a knife and slay that monster. But I have 4 children to raise and a 76 years old mother to support. If I go to jail, who’s gonna take care of them? I can’t afford a broken family.” He said his 160 cm figure was not Yang Xili’s opponent, plus they carried weapon and two sidekicks. He also worried that if he called the cops, he would be bullied even harder later.

Yang Xili was arrested by the police. But the nightmare is not over. In the following half month, Yang Wu was constantly harassed by Yang Xili’s family in order to make him drop the lawsuit. In a phone recording, Yang Xili’s brother threatened “Your whole family may die out” “I can’t promise your children’s safety after my brother gets out from the jail in a few years. His wife has already run away, he has nothing to lose, you think about it”.

Yang Xili’s mother even took her grandson along to come to Yang Wu’s door and scolded them “The woman’s shameless, she seduced my son and then accused him for rape?” “You are raped but still make a fuss of it, don’t you have sense of shame?” Yang Wu’s mother kneeled to stop her making false accusation and begged for justice.

Fear for revenge, Yang Wu actually went to the police department to request cancellation of the lawsuit, but was rejected and reprimanded by the police.

Wang Juan only stayed for a short while in the hospital since the family couldn’t afford her complete treatment. She fell into very unstable mental status, refused to drink or eat. Yang Wu and his mother took turn to keep an eye on her as Wang Juan already attempted suicide several times.

The bloodstain was still there under the bed. Bandage wrapped around her left wrist, the same hand she wore her wedding ring. Her 13-year-old daughter cried along with her mother. The youngest kid was only 3 years old, doesn’t quite understand what’s happening yet.

People are confused about Yang Wu’s action. One bystander said, the police department was only a few steps away. Yang Wu could have run out of the house and shout for help, police and neighbors would come to his rescue in seconds. But he didn’t.

Joint-defense team claimed that Yang Xili was only a personnel of the force, but only for temporary employment. He was unemployed days before the crime.

Father forced to commit suicide by 3 ungrateful sons.

In September, early in the morning at Xinzheng Road, Zhengzhou city, a crowd of people gathered outside a building. Looking up at the 5th floor balcony, an old man was standing outside of a window; half of his body dangerously in the air.

“Do not take things too hard, a dog’s life is better than no life.” fellow neighbours trying discouraged the elderly man from jumping off the building. And just below the balcony, his wife was seen kneeling on the ground, shouting and crying.

The elderly piercing cries simply expressed his despair of life. Fire men tried to enter the house but the door has been locked from the inside.

The old man suddenly rolled over with one hand hanging in the window, and the whole body was in the air. Meanwhile, the rescue team rushed to open up a rescue cushion.
But before the cushion was filled with air, the old man jumped off the building. The man was immediately rushed to a hospital of Zhengzhou City, but died despite efforts to save him.
According to nearby residents, the jumping man is a retired worker in a cotton mill in Zhengzhou and has three sons.
“The old man’s eldest son has sold the house and he was forced to live on the streets, the other two sons do not want to support him either.” a woman neighbor said.
These ungrateful sons should live and die in regret. They have forgotten how their father has toiled to raise them up.

Woman conned into buying fake duck eggs

Duck eggs are prevalent in China, but apparently someone has decided to take it upon himself to sell poor, unsuspecting consumers fake duck eggs.

In the northeastern city of Harbin, a woman bought 20 eggs from a vendor for about 1 RMB, or 15 cents, each. When she got home, she went to use them to make soup, but discovered a strange smell emanating from the boiling water, followed by a conspicuous lack of egg yolk.

Upon taking a bite, she discovered the egg was made of plastic. She boiled and peeled another, only to discover it too was fake. Obviously upset, the woman returned to confront the man she bought them from, but he was gone.

It's now hard to differentiate which is real and fake when it comes from China.

7 year old girl dances in restaurant to make ends meet.

As you sit in front of your computer reading this, you and I should count our lucky stars that we're so blessed in many ways in comparison to this 7 year old girl.

There are many cases in China where small child in poor family has to work at too young an age to help support family.

In the daytime, Huang Doudou (黄豆豆) is a just a normal 7-year-old Urumqi girl, happily attending school with red scarf. But when night falls, she is a solo dancer for a local hotpot restaurant, performing 4 nights a week just to make 800 yuan a month to support her family and pay for her dancing tuition.

Doudou is studying in the 2nd Grade in Urumqi No. 8 Primary School. Her mother with crippled left leg tries hard to make ends meet by baby-sitting and running stall while her father can only do some light part times due to his stomach disease. Doudou therefore steps on a young stage to perform for customers in a hotpot restaurant, just to earn 800 yuan a month to pay for her dancing class and help the family out.

Doudou’s family live in a small apartment of about 12 sqm. Soon after she comes home from school, her mother will help her put on makeup and prepare for the performance.

Doudou has to do 3 dances a night, 4 nights a week in front of people having hotpot. Between programs, she and her mother will rest on flower pots waiting for the next round.

When the clock strikes 10 pm, it is about time Doudou gets off work. She will put her school uniform and schoolbag back on and go home for dinner and homework. She can rarely go to bed before 11 pm.

Woman in Chengdu jumps off bridge in bid of suicide

A woman was caught on video jumping off of a pedestrian bridge over the Third Ring Road yesterday morning.

In the video, which was recorded from the passenger seat of a car traveling toward the Supo Flyover on the outer circle of the Third Ring Road, a woman is suddenly spotted dropping off a bridge at the Yangxi Flyover onto the four-lane highway below. The car in front of the car with the video camera brakes quickly to avoid running over the woman, now lying in the middle of the second lane of the highway. Traffic in the other lanes continues to flow steadily. Meanwhile the passengers in the car with the video camera, after recovering from their initial shock, make a quick decision to call the emergency hotline 110 and report the incident. While the phone call is taking place, the car ahead pulls into another lane and continues on its journey. The woman is seen still on the road, in clear view of the camera, waving her arm about.

The video was posted to the Chengdu QQ forums yesterday afternoon and in fewer than 24 hours has garnered more than two dozen pages of comments. You can watch the video at the forum or here.

Brazilian police ram moving plane to apprehend smugglers

If you saw it on a TV police show, you would dismiss it as being too far-fetched.
Consider: Machine gun-wielding officers use their car to chase and then ram into a moving plane, smashing off a wing, to stop it from taking to the air.

The reason they did it? The plane contains a gang of drug smugglers.

But, astonishingly, this is a real scenario and the video of it has been posted to the internet.
It is the work of Brazilian Federal Police in Ribeirão Preto.
The understandably shaky camerawork, shot from the car's back seat during the high-speed pursuit, puts the viewer inside the remarkable operation.

As it opens an armed officer hangs out of the window brandishing a large black gun as the car chases down the slow-moving plane down a dust road at a remote airstrip.

He ducks his head back inside the car as the team takes the decision that their only option is to ram the plane to prevent take-off.

The police hit the light-aircraft on the left wing, and plough straight through it, before executing a 180-degree turn that sends dust plumes into the air.

Without hesitation, one of the officers scrambles from the vehicle, machine-gun still in hand, and runs towards the stricken plane, while his colleague lends back up in the car.

The video cuts off before anyone can emerge from the wreckage of the spun-around aircraft and the camera fades out on a shot from inside the car, briefly revealing the car's smashed windscreen.

The amazing operation allowed the police to arrest five suspects after a month-long investigation.

You can watch the video here.

Naked woman disrupts traffic by doing yoga on top of a cab in protest against Afghanistan war

Stripping off and clambering on top of a Black Cab in front of the Houses of Parliament is not the usual way to practice yoga.

But that’s exactly what one demonstrator did, in a five-minute-long peaceful protest against the war in Afghanistan.

The nude woman, thought to be in her 30s, adapted the classic auspicious pose – legs crossed – on the roof of the vehicle while the taxi driver tried unsuccessfully to persuade her to get down.

She then stood, making the ‘peace’ sign with her fingers, while shouting, ‘Troops out of Afghanistan’, in Westminster Square, London, yesterday.

Astonished tourists looked on and took photos while traffic ground to a halt as police officers arrived and managed to remove the naked protestor, covering her modesty with a sheet.

Carl Backland, 50, who photographed the incident, said: 'I was on my way home from work when I spotted this woman stripping off.

'Then she jumped on the top of the cab when it stopped at the lights.

'The cab driver wasn't very pleased to say the least. There were loads of tourists around they couldn't believe it.

‘They were all taking pictures on their mobile phones. It stopped the traffic but I thought the police handed it well.

'They let her finish the yoga session and then sort of gently cajoled her into coming down.'
